SCOTT SPRINGER has successfully secured and implemented a number of public private partnerships during the last 7 years. The partnerships were structured around securing development rights on municipally-owned properties in the Chicago and Denver real estate markets. He quickly gained the trust of the elected officials, municipal staff and community stakeholders in structuring and managing the resulting redevelopment and master developer agreements. The agreement with the Village of Mundelein, IL has been highlighted by the Urban Land Institute as a particularly unique and creative approach to suburban in-fill brownfield and transit-oriented development. This agreement and the partnership is also a subject of a soon-to-be-released urban planning text book.
Prior to his success with public private partnerships, Scott held a number of positions with Weston Solutions, Inc. There he managed large private sector and government contracts providing a wide range of technical and construction-related assignments. He was instrumental in growing the Midwest operations of Weston from a $10M per year operation to a $120M per year operation during his tenure. His primary responsibilities were associated with business development across the Federal, State and Local and Commercial market sectors and managed Sales Directors, Sales Associates, and technical staff to secure the most important pursuits in the Midwest and nationally.
Scott is highly strategic and is able to predict market trends and customer/client needs quickly and accurately. He is constantly looking for and seeing emerging markets and leading teams to be first to market. He leveraged these skills to be a top producer and has the business and management experience to drive deals from conception to closing.
